Over the years, Tyler’s Design and Illustration department has largely expanded to be more inclusive of designers, illustrators, and UX/UI designers alike. The D&I club was founded to foster a community within the department and with anyone interested in design and illustration. The community has blossomed into a full network of current students, alumni, and industry professionals with the ultimate goal of bettering each other as designers.
The new look highlights the expansive changes happening within the Tyler Design & Illustration program and is made to feel more inclusive of both our design and illustration majors.
PROCESS
As the Branding Coordinator for the Tyler Design & Illustration Club, I had the opportunity to develop a fresh visual identity to represent the club for the 2025-26 school year. The system brings in the illustrative look of sign painting, formed together into a designed system that feels fun, fresh, and representative of the expanding department.
